Why did I buy Tesla?

When it came to Tesla, I was relatively confident in its future and its possibilities. This post will contain the reasoning for my purchase, and my history of buying Tesla stock.

Why buy Tesla?

My main trust in Tesla is due to rising necesity for sustainability and clean energy. I believe that the future is electric, and what bigger market than the automotive industry? Automobiles account for a good portion of carbon emissions, and with a government trying to head towards clean energy to combat climate change, it won't be long until electric vehicles become the new norm.

Using the past to find a future.

To back up my ideas, I delved into the past, to find out the direction of our economy's momentum and trajectory. On the surface level, I found that we were indeed attempting to enter sustainability and clean energy. From Obama's Clean Power Plan to Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, the country is showing that it wants to head towards cheap clean energy. As the automobile sector is a important part in the US economy, Tesla pioneers EVs. This means that as America heads towards clean energy, Tesla will be a obvious and important pick to reach their goals, making Tesla a safe and positive investment.

How I invested into Tesla.

At the beginning of summer near June, with the anticipation of a election soon, I researched and ultimately decided to invest around $5910 into Tesla, or around 30 common stock. From my research, I classified this investment as a safe and progressive investment, as America is progressively heading towards clean energy. Additionally, with the upcoming election I anticipated a positive market as seen throughout previous elections. By the end of the election, the next trading day my speculations were correct and Tesla skyrocketed to over $300 per stock, making me around $3000 of profit and a total Tesla valuation from $5910 to over $9000.
